    UNDER CONSTRUCTION

    A new Tony Packo’s restaurant is taking shape quickly at 5822 Alexis Rd. in Sylvania. The site and building belong to a former Boston Market restaurant. Midwest Contracting is converting the former restaurant, and the site is slated to be finished and ready to open by the end of May or the first week of June. The establishment will employ 15 to 20 workers and is going to replace the Packo’s restaurant at 5827 Monroe St., which has been operating in a strip center for 35 years and will close on May 15 with a going-away party featuring the Cakewalkin’ Jass Band.

    ACHIEVEMENT

    ■ Jerry Hahn has been hired as a vice president and financial adviser in the Toledo office of international private equity and wealth-management firm Baird.
