● Noodles were not being held at the proper temperature.

● Noodles stored in a cooler didn’t have a date marking to indicate when the food should be discarded.

● A food handler washed a pan with soap and water but did not sanitize it.

● Food employee(s) did not wash hands after working in a different work station.

● The hand-washing sink was being used for purposes other than hand washing.

El Camino Real, 2500 W. Sylvania, inspected July 18.

● There was heavy buildup inside the ice machine.

● Live gnats were by the doors of the bathrooms.

China House, 1122 N. Byrne, inspected July 18.  

● There were no signed employee health forms at the facility.

● Food items inside two coolers didn’t have date markings to indicate when the food should be discarded.

Brew Ha’s, 5801 Telegraph, inspected July 18. 

● A nozzle to a soda dispenser was not being cleaned at the correct frequency. 

Arby’s, 1540 E. Alexis, inspected July 18.  

● A chemical container with a sprayer was stored next to the buns and syrups in the dry storage area.

Stanley’s Market, 3302 Stickney, inspected July 19.  

● There was no sanitizer solution in the basement during food preparation.

● Food employees were sanitizing food contact surfaces with sanitizer solution that did not meet minimum concentrations requirements.

● Raw shell eggs and bacon were stored with ready-to-eat food on the same shelf inside the walk-in cooler.

● A pan of homemade hot dog sauce was kept past its discard date.

● There was buildup behind the blade and parts of a slicer.

● The meat cutting device in the meat room was not properly cleaned when switching in between cutting different raw meats.

● The sanitizer solution throughout the facility did not meet minimum concentration requirements.

● There was an air gap between a plumbing fixture and a piece of equipment that was not sufficient to prevent back siphonage of contaminated water.

● Refried beans were not being held at the proper temperature.

● Flies were inside the facility.

● Chicken breast and cut melon did not have date markings to indicate when the food should be discarded.

● Nacho cheese was not being held at the proper temperature.

● Person in charge did not ensure that employees are informed in a verifiable manner of their responsibility to report information about their health as it relates to diseases that are transmissible through food.

● Food employee(s) did not wash hands after cracking eggs and before they then went on to do other food preparation work.

● A staff member spread butter on toast and placed it on a plate with their bare hands.

● A walk-in cooler was not holding food at the proper temperature.

● There was builup on soda nozzle.
