Brad Walk Trio
Friday, May 8, 2015 at 8:00 pm

SANDUSKY, OH –The Sandusky State Theatre is pleased to presents the State Room Sessions featuring Brad Walk on Friday, May 8, 2015 at 8:00pm in the State Room.

Brad Walk is a singer and player of songs of alternative, acoustic rock, and folk music. His charming yet funny personality brings the audience to love him and his music. With the release of his recent album, ‘Play Time’, Brad seeks out new opportunities to play and share his music, while continue to write new material. Ashley Bethard of Funcoast Magazine stated, “ He may wax philosophical about music, but Brad Walk isn’t an elitist. A purist maybe, especially when you consider his approach to his craft. Walk’s music method is simple: vocal chords and a guitar.”

For the past two decades, Brad Walk has captivated audiences up and down the Lake Erie shore. The Sandusky based artist performs both as a solo acoustic act, and with a band to the delight of most anyone who hears him. – Michelle Pletcher, Sandusky Register

The new album "Play Time", his second solo record, plays to your emotions. He combines a lush and moody acoustic style with an alternative rock sensibility and a little bit of delta blues. Both his vocals and guitar arrangements run from the smooth and the quiet to a rock and roll growl.

His influences are as wide-ranging as his sound and include Pearl Jam, Damien Rice, Radiohead, Blind Melon, Son House, and many more.
His past projects include Akron based Latticesphere Records recording artists, "Riven" and the accomplished alternative Cleveland band, "Thousand Year Echo"

Band members most often include lead guitarist Don Hoffman and drummer Chad Miller, with whom Brad plays with as the “The Brad Walk Trio”. Special guests include Zach Bechstein on percussion and Arica Pfirsch on bass guitar.
The State Room Sessions is driven to provide a venue for local and regional musicians to share their music and to build their fan base. It strives to create an atmosphere for friends to hangout and support the local music scene. State Room Sessions is where you can hear listen to the music waves travel through the air.

Couches provided by Goodwill Industries of Erie, Huron, Ottawa and Sandusky Counties. When you donate to Goodwill, you are giving local residents the life-changing opportunity to achieve independence through the power of a paycheck.
