Fiery crash kills 1, injures 2 near Lima

LIMA, Ohio - A 25-year-old Spencerville man died late Thursday after he crossed the center line on Sugar Street, just outside of Lima, and drove head-on into a tractor-trailer rig.

Nico Molina died after the pickup truck he was driving was hit by the truck and burst into flames. His passenger, Randall Marshall, Jr., 24, of Lima, was listed in critical condition at St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center with severe burns.

Troopers with the Ohio Highway Patrol in Lima responded to the crash at 10:45 p.m. on Sugar at Robb Avenue in Bath Township. The truck driver, Timothy Gibson, 33, of Wapakoneta, was in critical condition at Lima Memorial Hospital.
