Pioneer utility workers to be paid weekend rate

PIONEER - Water and electric workers in the village of Pioneer will be paid time and a half if they are called in to work on weekends and holidays.

Council members of this Williams County village recently approved a measure that places one employee on call during those times, and paying those workers overtime if they are needed.
