LIMA, Ohio - A three-story apartment building that caught fire Thursday morning might be too badly damaged to be rebuilt, the building's owner said.
The fire apparently began before 2 a.m. on the third floor. Some of the residents were awakened by two drivers who saw flames from the parking lot of the nearby White Cab Co. and ran to the building to pound on the doors.
Building owner Patricia Fink said the damage appeared extensive and speculated the building, which housed seven tenants, may have to be razed.
