A construction-zone update page has been added to the internet site that tracks progress of the Maumee River Crossing construction project, state officials said.
The "Construction Zone" page on the www.lookuptoledo.org site will be updated regularly and include suggested alternate routes that motorists may use to avoid delays during lane closings. Those without internet access can obtain the same information by calling the Look Up, Toledo Hot Line at 244-7696.
Project-related I-280 widening began in March, and construction of a six-lane I-280 bridge over the Maumee is scheduled to begin next year.
The project is expected to cost about $250 million, including $180 million for the cable-stayed bridge.
