Traffic-sensor work closes lanes on I-75 at Alexis Rd.

Replacement of automatic traffic-counting sensors on I-75 will require lane closings between Alexis Road and the Ohio-Michigan line, starting tomorrow night, the Ohio Department of Transportation announced.

Between 7 p.m. tomorrow and 6 a.m. Tuesday, two of the three southbound lanes will be closed at the state line.

Between 6 a.m. and 7 p.m. Tuesday, one southbound lane will be closed.

Between 7 p.m. Tuesday and 6 a.m. Wednesday, two northbound lanes will be closed.

And between 6 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, one northbound lane will be closed.

The closings could be delayed or extended in the event of bad weather.
