2 Toledo-area men are elected to MCO panel

Two Toledo-area men have been elected to the Medical College of Ohio Foundation board of trustees.

Howard Brown of Sylvania Township and Robert Sullivan of Holland have become members of the 29-member board, which works to raise funds and develop programs for MCO.

Mr. Brown, principal of Libbey High School, will serve on the board's finance and investment committee. He is a member of the United Way of Greater Toledo Impact Area Committee, and has served on the boards of the Fredrick Douglass Community Association and Neighborhood Health Services.

Mr. Sullivan, president and chief executive officer of Fifth Third Bank, Northwestern Ohio, will serve on the MCO Foundation's gift acceptance and business development committee. Mr. Sullivan is a member of the board of directors of Fifth Third Bank, Northwestern Ohio; Mercy Health Partners; COSI; United Way of Greater Toledo; and Toledo Area Chamber of Commerce.

The foundation board is made up of civic and business leaders from throughout the region.
