Library will display 1356 Armenian Bible

2/23/2002

An Armenian Bible produced in 1356 will be put on display in The Blade Rare Book Room of the main branch of the Toledo-Lucas County Public Library at 10:30 a.m. Monday.

The Bible, handwritten by Armenian monks, will be permanently housed in the climate-controlled rare book room.

The donation from Ada Wells, a retired librarian from Napoleon, becomes the oldest book in the library's collection.
