2 men injured in crash of ultralight in corn field

MOUNT BLANCHARD, Ohio - Two men were injured when the ultralight plane they were flying crashed in a corn field near here Monday night.

Benjamin McRill, 47, of rural Mount Blanchard and Gary McRill, 50, of rural Findlay both were in fair condition yesterday in St. Rita's Medical Center, Lima.

According to Hancock County sheriff's deputies, the two crashed about 8:40 p.m. in a field southeast of State Rt. 103 and Delaware Township Road 190.

The cause of the crash was not immediately known.
