Monday is the deadline for Michigan residents to register to vote in the Aug. 6 primary.
Secretary of State Candice Miller said residents may register at their city or township clerk's office, any secretary of state branch office, or by completing a mail-in form available from county, township, and city clerks. The mail-in form also can be printed from the secretary of state's Web site, www.michigan.gov/sos.
To register, residents must be at least 18 by election day, a U.S. citizen, and a resident of the city or township where they wish to vote.
