BOWLING GREEN — The Northwestern Water and Sewer District will flush and test fire hydrants Wednesday through Sept. 6.
Testing will be performed from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. weekdays in areas served by the district in and around Portage, Rudolph, Perrysburg, and Bowling Green.
Residents may notice rusty water during this period and should run tap water prior to using water for laundry purposes. Rust-removal chemicals are available at the district's maintenance department on Woodville Road or at its office on the third floor of the county office building in Bowling Green.
