On behalf of the Toledo Area Chamber of Commerce and the Toledo-Lucas County Port Authority, we would like to take this opportunity to welcome all visitors to the Food Town Toledo Air Show 2002.

This year, we are honored to present the United States Navy Blue Angels, who will thrill audiences at the Toledo Express Airport with a display of the unparalleled competence and expertise of our nation's Armed Forces.

Our country has experienced a very difficult year. The Blue Angels - one of the true symbols of American patriotism and military strength - is a fitting-tribute to the solidarity of our nation.

In addition, the USAF F-15 East Coast Demonstration Team, along with seven other aerial performers, will add to the impressive review of flight technology and personal daring at this first-class community event. Together, the efforts of these performers exemplify the spirit of flight, following in the long history of excellence in American aviation.

For those of you visiting the area, we encourage you to find time to experience the fine dining, shopping and entertainment that northwest Ohio has to offer. The fun does not end after the final aerial performance!

We would also like to thank our generous sponsors without whose support an event like this would not be possible. Also, to our hundreds of dedicated volunteers who have worked tirelessly to make the show the best it can be, our sincere appreciation - your work does not go unnoticed.

With this joint effort, sponsors and volunteers, we will again provide the opportunity to build upon the contributions previously given to local economic development projects.
