Kenton Komives, a 1st lieutenant in the Army Reserve Officers Training Corps program at the University of Toledo, tries to find room in his car for a cardboard recruiting cut-out behind the Army ROTC Armory on campus.

Mr. Komives, a junior from Columbus, was headed out to give a recruiting presentation for one of his classes yesterday.
