Robert Krompak, who has worked with Catholic Charities for the last three years, has been named executive director of the Ottawa Community Development Corp. by its board of directors.
Mr. Krompak, 50, who works as the director of Catholic Charities housing and employment services, will assume his new duties Jan. 2.
He replaces Ben Tallerico, who also was the former chairman of the Toledo CDC Alliance. Mr. Tallerico left Ottawa earlier in the fall for a job in the Detroit area.
Mr. Krompak worked 14 years for the United Way of Greater Toledo, 10 as director of the organization's First Call for Help program.
