4 Easy-Bake brand yellow cake mixes
1/3 cup blueberries (35 berries)
1/4 cup heavy whipping cream
2 teaspoons sugar
Cake Mate decorating gel tubes, optional
Cook s note: This cake can be made with only two layers, using half the whipped cream and blueberries for assembly. Then it is only a Berry Cake.
Prepare 4 Easy-Bake yellow cake layers according to directions on package and let cool. Whip heavy whipping cream with 2 teaspoons sugar until it holds soft peaks. Place one cake layer on cake plate. Spread 1/4 of prepared whipped cream and top with 8 blueberries around edge of cake and 1 blueberry in center.
Place the second layer on top of the first. Spread 1/4 of prepared whipped cream and top with 8 blueberries around the edge of the cake and 1 blueberry in center.
Place third layer on top of the second. Spread 1/4 of prepared whipped cream, and top with 8 blueberries around edge of cake and 1 blueberry in center.
Place remaining cake on top of third. Spread remaining whipped cream and top with 8 blueberries around edge of cake and 1 strawberry in center. Create designs on top of cake and around berries using decorating gel.
Yield: One 4-layer Easy-Bake cake
