Driver hurt critically in car-van collision

A motorist was critically injured yesterday when his car emerged from a private driveway and collided with a minivan on Tracy Road north of State Rt. 795 in Perrysburg Township, the Ohio Highway Patrol said.

Stephen Saloun, 45, believed to be from Toledo, was admitted in critical condition to St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center, troopers at the patrol s Walbridge post said.

Mr. Saloun was turning south onto Tracy about 4:10 p.m. when his car collided with a minivan driven by Scott Stacey, 33, of Northwood, who was driving north on Tracy. Mr. Stacey was not hurt, troopers said.
