Bridge repairs to restrict Detroit Ave. traffic lanes

Reconstruction of the Detroit Avenue bridge over the Ottawa River in Toledo will require traffic to be restricted to one lane in each direction, starting this morning, the city transportation division announced.

Lane closings will extend from Berdan Avenue to Phillips Avenue, and motorists should expect delays in the area, officials said.

The bridge reconstruction is scheduled for completion by July 31.
