FOSTORIA - The Ohio Department of Transportation will discuss a railroad grade-separation project planned for Tiffin Street at a meeting Wednesday at Fostoria Middle School, 1201 H.L. Ford Drive.

The meeting will begin at 5:30 p.m. and will include presentations by ODOT and the project manager, W.E.C. Engineers of Ohio, a Hilliard-based firm.

Officials will talk about how nearby properties will be affected and will present exhibits detailing the project and depicting the completed bridge and roadway.

Fostoria is in line for state funding to construct the Tiffin Street overpass and a grade separation on Loudon Township Road 43.

City officials also have been told that construction of a railroad overpass on Jones Road/Seneca County Road 592 could be started in 2006.
