LIMA, Ohio - Allen County communities that have been waiting since 1998 for emergency sirens should have them in place by the end of the year.
Russ Decker, director of the Allen County Emergency Management Agency, said every village and township in the county will be receiving a siren in time for the 2005 storm season.
The $400,000 project will be paid for by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security.
