SWANTON: HULA HOOP CHAMPION

Tressler and the two others were able to outlast the scores who began the contest and kept the hoop swinging for 45 minutes at the  Swanton festival to celebrate the fourth of July. At rear are, from left, Julia Poca,  Chelsea Milligan, and Barbara Jimison, all 14 and all of Swanton. The event was held at the high school's football field on July 2, 2004. Food vendors, Happy the Clown with face painting and hair coloring and several cash raffles were part of the pre-fireworks fun.
