ACTIVITIES CENTER

Activities include Bingo, fitness, ceramics, painting, computer classes, line-dancing, volleyball and shuffleboard, shopping trips, sewing and crafts, movie days, and various theme parties.

Daily lunch program; reservations due by 11 a.m. the day before.

Senior softball league registration now being taken : Evening Leagues and Day league. Call the center for forms and information.

Tennis lessons for seniors at Navarre Park, White Street, taught by a Waite High School tennis coach at 9:30 a.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays. $25 for a six-week program of one hour lessons. Register: 419-691-2254.

Tuesday: Hawaiian Luau, 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Cost, $5, includes lunch, games, prizes, cards, bingo, and more. Reservations due by Aug. 27. Call 419-691-2254.

Mondays: ceramic class at 9:30 a.m. at $2 per class. Take your own greenware; paints provided.

Tuesdays: free knitting and crocheting class at 9:30 a.m.

Computer classes, ages 55 and older through Computer Sight,a program using adaptive equipment such as large-screen monitors and magnifiers. Courses are for first-time users and those needing word processing, e-mail, and beginning spreadsheet instruction. Each four-hour course is $60.

NATIONAL PROGRAM
