Falling leaves drifting by the windows, piling up in the backyard, and covering the flower beds can be raked to the curbs in Delta for pickup in the coming weeks.
Residents are asked to have their leaves raked to the curb by 8 a.m. tomorrow for the first round of leaf pickup service.
A second round will begin Nov. 18, and again, residents are asked to have leaves by the curbs by 8 a.m. that day.
Village officials remind residents that this is a leaf pickup service which means that leaves - not rocks, tree branches, rotting tomatoes, or any other foreign objects - are allowed in the piles.
