Scott Satterlee of Carleton plays taps toward the end of a flag presentation ceremony Saturday in Monroe to honor the 72 Kentucky soldiers killed in the River Raisin massacre of January, 1813, in the nearby Frenchtown Settlement. The city is marking the 100th anniversary of the Kentucky River Raisin Monument.
