Infestations of the emerald ash borer have been discovered at two more locations in Toledo, the Ohio Department of Agriculture said this week.

One site is near Hill Avenue and South Holland-Sylvania Road; the other is near Secor Road and I-475. More survey work will be done to figure out how far the beetle has spread at those sites, state agriculture officials said.

Both sites are several miles from an infestation on Oatis Avenue near Toledo Hospital. The emerald ash borer also has been found in Defiance, Franklin, Fulton, Henry, and Wood counties.
