Erie Metroparks leader selected for 2nd term

HURON, Ohio A Huron man has been named to a second term as a commissioner for Erie Metroparks.

Fred Nottke began his new three-year term Jan. 1 after being reappointed by Judge Beverly McGookey of Erie County Probate Court.

Mr. Nottke owns a painting and wallpaper business, Marley Bay Limited, and has served on the park commission since 2001.

The other park commissioners are Thomas Dusza and former state Rep. Fred Deering (D., Monroeville).
