Pemberville council fills vacant position

PEMBERVILLE, Ohio The Village Council narrowed down a field of six last week and then filled the position vacated by former councilman Doug Wegman.

Council appointed Brandon Donaldson, a maintenance technician, to serve the last year of Mr. Wegman s term, which ends in December, Clerk-Treasurer Ruth Phillips said.

She said council also elected Councilman Kurt Panning as council president this year. The position was previously held by Councilman Patricia Vandersall.
