Gorham Fayette school board members last week tabled a negotiated contract agreement between the school board and OAPSE Chapter 21 that covers 15 school workers, including cooks, bus drivers, secretaries, and aides.
There were still a couple of items that needed to be worked out, superintendent Dave Hankins said. A special meeting will be called to take action on the agreement, he said. It is possible that during the special meeting the board will discuss placing a bond issue on the ballot in August or November. The bond issue would be requested to raise revenue for construction of a new school.
