Chris Jones, Jessica McGeorge, and Bryan Kromenacker, front to back, plant trees along the Ottawa River during Earth Day cleanup at Wildwood Preserve Metropark last Saturday. Volunteers helped with planting, prairie restoration, and other activities. Earth Day was established April 22, 1970, to pass on the idea of preserving the planet for future generations.
