Woman hurt in collision dies from her injuries
9/2/2005A Toledo woman hurt in an accident involving a motorcycle and a pickup Wednesday on Miami Street at I-75 died from injuries she suffered in the collision, authorities said yesterday.
Denise R. Mason, 47, of 1820 Woodmore St. died at 11:35 p.m. Wednesday in St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center. Her husband, Mark, 47, also of the Woodmore address, was in serious condition at St. Vincent s after the accident, which occurred about 5:15 p.m. Wednesday. Both were on the motorcycle.
The pickup driver, Heinz Tegtimeier, 51, of Rossford was not hurt. Police said he pulled off the exit ramp from I-75 onto Miami as the Masons were riding east on Miami, and their vehicles collided.
The Masons, who were not wearing helmets, were thrown from their motorcycle.
No charges have been filed, as the accident remains under investigation.
