Waterville Village Council updated several parts of the planning and zoning code, the streets, utilities, and public services code, and the building code last week.
Instead of specifying in the code the amount of the fees charged for zoning permits, staff review of plans, excavations in the public right of way, and sign permits, among others, the fees will now be set by council ordinance.
Council plans to set new fees within a month, village Administrator Jim Bagdonas said.
