Owens women win

Bridgett Buss nailed five 3-pointers on her way to a game-high 22 points, as Owens CC (4-6) defeated Delta CC (4-2) 69-54 yesterday.

Latoya Bidden contributed 17 points and 13 rebounds. Katie Culver added 11 points for the Express.

Owens shot 44 percent (28-of-64) from the floor and outrebounded Delta 43-33, while forcing 18 turnovers.

Delta's Alexis Rankin had 21 points.

Owens will host Kellogg CC Wednesday at 7 p.m.
