FAYETTE, Ohio Harrison Lake State Park officials are moving into a new $164,000 office building at the park in northwest Fulton County.

The log-sided building, trimmed in cedar and antique green, was finished Nov. 30, and park employees, who have spent much of the last 10 days moving, plan to be settled by this week, said park manager Jerry Van Zile.

It s very conducive to a state park, Mr. Van Zile said of the 24-by-84 -foot building that was paid for by the Ohio Department of Natural Resources.

The park s old office will be used for storage, and next month leaders plan to tear down three park structures that were built or renovated in the 1970s. These include a nature center built in 1975; a camp office built in 1971, and the previous park office, thought to have been built as a cottage in the 1930s and converted to an office in 1971. It has not been used since 1991.
