The boots and helmet of Spc. Jeremy Hodge, a fallen member of the Ohio Army National Guard's Bravo Company, 612th Engineering Battalion, occupy a chair placed in the middle of the gymnasium at Heidelberg College during a ceremony welcoming the company back home from duty in Iraq.

The 612th, which is based in Tiffin, was called up in November, 2004, and recently returned home after spending a year in Iraq. Friends and family of the soldiers, many of whom are from northwest Ohio, attended the ceremony that was held yesterday afternoon at the college in Tiffin.
