JENERA, Ohio - A 26-year-old Jenera woman was hurt seriously Sunday in a two-vehicle accident at U.S. 30 and Van Buren Township Road 61, the Hancock County Sheriff's Office said.

Sara Justus, who was driving one of the vehicles, was in serious condition last night in the Blanchard Valley Regional Health Center, Findlay.

Her car was northbound on Road 61 about 7:30 p.m. when she failed to stop at a stop sign and was struck by a tractor-trailer that was eastbound on U.S. 30. Ms. Justus was thrown from her vehicle, deputies said. Corey Emerick, 36, of Pennville, Ind., the semi driver, wasn't hurt.

Deputies said Ms. Justus had a blood-alcohol content of 0.193 percent and will be cited for operating a vehicle while intoxicated. The legal limit for a motorist in Ohio is 0.08 percent.

She also will be cited for failure to yield, driving with a suspended operator's license, and failure to wear a seat belt, deputies said.
