The Original Gino's, 449 West Dussel, Maumee, inspected July 5. Critical violation: Mold observed on soft drink nozzles. Soak nozzles nightly in sanitizer solution. Three noncritical violations. Inspector: Bauman.

Subway, 7621 Sylvania, Sylvania, inspected July 6. Critical violations: Observed pre-weighed steak at 53 degrees, pre-weighed chicken at 49-63 degrees, sliced cheese at 52 degrees, top layer of roast beef at 50 degrees and breaded chicken at 51 degrees in prep top cooler. Do not overfill pans. Pans should only be filled to just below the chill line. Use lids to help maintain 41 degrees on all pre-weighed meats. Discarded meat that was out of proper temperature range. Observed employee fixing hair with gloves on and then touching food with the same pair of gloves. Observed an open drink cup stored on prep table while employees were preparing food. All employee drinks must have lids and straws and should be stored one level below food or food contact surfaces. Observed chemical spray bottles stored on prep table while employees were preparing food. Store all chemical below food and food contact surfaces. Facility must have a knowledgeable person-in-charge at times. Three noncritical violations. Inspector: Kistler.
