Computer upgrades planned for libraries

The Toledo-Lucas County Public Library system will get software upgrades and new computers in the next month, but the upgrading process will take public-access computers offline for at least one day.
The upgrades are being made with a $75,000 grant from the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation.
Computers will not be available the following days at the following branches:
Today, Main Library. July 31, Birmingham Branch. Aug. 7, Oregon Branch. Aug. 8, Heatherdowns and Toledo Heights branches. Aug. 9, Holland and Maumee branches. Aug. 10, Kent and West Toledo branches. Aug. 14, Sylvania and Lagrange branches. Aug. 15, Mott and Reynolds Corners branches. Aug. 16, Sanger Branch. Aug. 17, South and Locke branches. Aug. 21, Point Place and Washington branches. Aug. 22, Waterville Branch.
