Woman, 26, seriously hurt in 2-car wreck

BLOOMVILLE, Ohio - A 26-year-old woman remained in serious condition yesterday in University Medical Center, Toledo, a day after she was hurt in a two-vehicle collision at Seneca County Road 23 and Bloom Township Road 58, the Ohio Highway Patrol said.

Lori Bumb, 26, of Bloomville, driver of one of the vehicles, was flown to the hospital after the accident, which was reported at

5:35 p.m. Tuesday.

Troopers at the patrol's Fremont post said Joshua Majors, 16, of Bloomville failed to stop at the intersection and struck Ms. Bumb's car. Neither the driver nor his passenger, John Schirack, 17, also of Bloomville, was hurt, troopers said.

The Majors youth was cited for failure to stop at a stop sign, troopers said.
