Helpers needed for Wood County Special Olympics

BOWLING GREEN - Wood County Special Olympics is looking for volunteers for the 2006-07 basketball season.

Practice assistants will work with Special Olympics staff to help athletes learn individual and team skills and encourage all athletes to actively participate in the game.

Practices and home games are held in the Dolores A. Black Gymnasium at the Bowling Green Community Center. Volunteers must be at least 14 and have some experience playing basketball.
