Bowling Green woman killed on State Rt. 25

BOWLING GREEN - A 57-year-old Wood County woman was killed in a three-vehicle accident on State Rt. 25 north of Bowling Green yesterday afternoon.

Judith L. Cohen of Bowling Green was dead at the scene of the crash on State Rt. 25, south of Sugar Ridge Road in Center Township.

She was driving a station wagon south on State Rt. 25 just after 2:45 p.m. when she slowed to make a left turn into a private drive of a local business and her vehicle was rear-ended by a semi tractor driven by Jeffrey L. Hoyer, 45, of West Millgrove in southeastern Wood County.

The station wagon was pushed left of center and struck by a pickup driven by Kevin S. Reidel, 44, of Maumee. Both Ms. Cohen's car and Mr. Reidel's pickup went off the east side of the road and Ms. Cohen's car overturned, landing on the driver's side.

Mr. Reidel was treated at St. Luke's Hospital.

Mr. Hoyer was not injured.

The Ohio Highway Patrol is investigating the crash.
