DEFIANCE, Ohio Two northwest Ohio residents were injured when their sport-utility vehicles collided this morning on State Rt. 15 at Watson Road in southern Defiance County, the Ohio Highway Patrol said.

Mary J. Clark, 55, of Paulding, the driver of one of the SUVs, was taken to Parkview Memorial Hospital, Fort Wayne, Ind., where her condition was unavailable. Ronald Miehls Jr., 43, of Ottawa, the driver of the other SUV, was treated at Defiance Regional Medical Center.

The Clark SUV was westbound on Watson in Defiance Township about 7:40 a.m. when it failed to stop for a stop sign at Route 15 and drove into the path of the Miehls SUV, which was southbound on Route 15, troopers at the patrol's Defiance post said. The accident scene was about 50 miles southeast of Toledo.
