FINDLAY - Hours after a Findlay man's story about the love of his life appeared in the local newspaper, his wife of 66 years died.

Ted Groman answered The Courier's request for love stories by writing in Wednesday's newspaper about his wife, Eleanor, and their 70 years together.

He told of their courtship that began in 1935 and wrote that they were always together.

He said they both wished everybody could have such a happy life.

Eleanor Groman died Wednesday afternoon in a Findlay nursing home. She was 88.

The couple had three children.
