FINDLAY A Dayton-area woman was treated for a head injury yesterday after being in a pileup of about 10 vehicles along southbound I-75 within the Findlay city limits.

Patricia Macenen of Kettering, Ohio, was flown to Miami Valley Hospital. The hospital had no information on a patient by that name last night.

The Ohio Highway Patrol said she was a passenger in a car hit from behind in a succession of crashes about 3:30 p.m. All occurred during a heavy rain, resulting in a large traffic backup.

At least two other people were treated at Blanchard Valley hospital, according to state troopers and Hancock County Sheriff s Office, which also responded to the accidents.

Those authorities, assisted by Findlay police, were still trying to piece together the sequence of events last night.
