OAK HARBOR, Ohio Two people from Graytown, Ohio, were hurt when a car and a pickup truck collided head-on Tuesday on State Rt. 105 just west of this Ottawa County community, authorities said.

Jasmine Aikman, 17, the driver of the pickup, and William Kreinbihl, 57, the driver of the car, were taken to area hospitals, according to the Ohio Highway Patrol s Sandusky post.

One victim was taken by an ambulance to Magruder Hospital, Port Clinton, and the other was airlifted to St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center, Toledo, according to the Ottawa County Sheriff s Office. The hospitals released no information Wednesday morning about people by those names.

The crash occurred about 7:35 p.m. in Ottawa County s Salem Township, sheriff s deputies said.

The Kreinbihl car was westbound on Route 105 when it crossed the center line and drove into the path of the Aikman truck, which was eastbound on the road, the patrol said. Troopers did not say why the car driver crossed the center line.

Mr. Kreinbihl was cited for driving left of center, troopers said.

Oak Harbor is about 20 miles southeast of Toledo.
