DETROIT AAA Michigan says gas prices have dropped seven-tenths of a cent since last week, putting the statewide average slightly below $4.18 a gallon.
The state auto club said Monday that of the cities it surveys, the cheapest price for self-serve regular fuel is in the Saginaw and Bay City area, where a gallon costs $4.12. The highest average can be found in the Marquette area at $4.22.
The statewide average for biodiesel is $4.82 and $3.70 for ethanol.
AAA surveys 2,800 Michigan gas stations daily.
