The Blade s Road Warrior advises readers each Friday where the biggest driving headaches will be throughout the construction season. He ll tell you the locations

to avoid and the detours to take.

Bridge-deck repairs on northbound I-75 will require single-lane traffic for two nights next week, the Ohio Department of Transportation announced.

Avoid Airport Highway between Reynolds and Holland-Sylvania roads starting on Monday: a culvert replacement near Bernath Parkway will reduce the street to one lane each way.

Until this construction ends in mid-August, use Angola Road or Heatherdowns Boulevard as an alternate route into Springfield Township.

Starting at 9 p.m. Monday, two of three lanes will be closed at Miami Street and the ramp from southbound Miami to northbound I-75 will be closed. Work is scheduled

to end by 6 a.m. Tuesday.

During the same hours Tuesday night into Wednesday morning, the single-lane zone will start at the State Rt. 25 North/Downtown exit (201B).

Between 7:30 a.m. and 4 p.m. on weekdays next week, varying lane closings are planned in the same area for sweeping and drain cleaning.
