GREEN SPRINGS, Ohio A 22-year-old man was hurt seriously when the motorcycle he was driving crashed Sunday night in this Sandusky and Seneca counties village, authorities said.

Jared Alloway of Green Springs, who was not wearing a helmet and was thrown from the motorcycle, was airlifted to the University of Toledo Medical Center, the former Medical College of Ohio Hospital, with a serious injury, troopers at the Ohio Highway Patrol s Fremont post said.

A hospital spokesman said Monday morning that Mr. Alloway was a patient at the hospital. She refused to release his condition citing patient privacy laws.
