Fried Apples

1 large Granny Smith apple, peeled, cored, and cut into thin slices (Paula red and Fugi may also be used)

13 stick of butter

cup light brown sugar

1 teaspoon cinnamon

18 teaspoon nutmeg

In a medium skillet, melt butter. Add apples, sugar, and spices. Simmer until caramelized. Serve warm over waffles or pancakes.
