WOODVILLE A Millbury woman was injured Saturday after her car struck a guardrail and overturned, troopers at the Fremont post of the Ohio Highway Patrol said.

Sheila A. Johnson, 45, was driving north on Sandusky County Road 30 south of Woodville Township Road 167 about 3:45 p.m., when her car failed to negotiate a curve and hit a guardrail.

The car returned to the road and went off the east side, where it struck three trees and overturned on its top. Ms. Johnson was partially ejected.

She was flown to St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center, Toledo, where she was listed in critical condition.

Troopers said she was not wearing a seat belt and that alcohol is believed to have been a factor. The accident is under investigation.
